Syrian soldiers shoot at Lebanese army patrol near border

Syrian soldiers on Thursday shot in the direction of a Lebanese army unit marching in the northern Lebanese town Mouanse, near the Syrian border.

“The soldiers shot in the direction of the Lebanese army [from the Syrian territory] because they confused their identity, but the situation went back to normal after they identified the unit,” the National News Agency reported.

However, the report did not elaborate further.
