“Shariah law poses no threat whatsoever to America’s legal system.”

In a recent article, Charles Haynes stated “Shariah law poses no threat whatsoever to America’s legal system.” Haynes offers absolutely no proof for his assertion. Instead, he takes the time to bash sharia opponents as “Islamaphobic” — an all-to-common tactic by the left. A look a reality shows us the real truth.

The American Islamic Leadership Coalition supports bill in Michigan, HB 4679 (anti-sharia) and they state:

“As American Muslims, we believe that the law should treat people of all faiths equally, while protecting Muslims and non-Muslims alike from extremist attempts to use the legal instrument of shari‘ah (also known as Islamic jurisprudence, or fiqh) to incubate, within the West, a highly politicized and dangerous understanding of Islam that is generally known as ‘Islamism,’ or ‘radical Islam.’”

In Germany, legal expert Joachim Wagner, shows the dangers of Islamic law in “Judges Without Law: Islamic Parallel Justice Endangers Our Constitutional State.” Wagner says Islamic law is now undermining the rule of law in Germany.

In FrontPageMagazine Abdur-Rahman Muhammad, a former member of International Institute for Islamic Thought (Muslim Brotherhood front organization), says the term Islamaphobia was invented by that radical group to paint opponents as haters and Muslims as victims.

Hasan Mahmud, a Muslim, posted a Frontpage.com article on Aug. 22, 2011. He says Islamaphobia is to be expected when Islamic law has done the following: stoned to death a gang-raped girls (minors); wife beating, child marriage and “no rape in marriage” are openly preached; female genital mutilation is supported by many clerics; women are instantly divorced; a woman appealed to Sharia court to order her husband to beat only once a week, not every day; non-Muslims are arrested for carrying their holy books; hate preaching and persecution of non-Muslims; indoctrination of children with hate at “The Other” even in school syllabi; non-Muslim places of worship are destroyed regularly; lying and deceiving are supported (taqiyya); civil rights are violently suppressed by “Islamic” governments, often by hanging.

A paper titled “Sharia Law and American State Courts an Assessment of State Appellate Court Cases” states: “Shariah is comprehensive and by definition without limit in its ambitions and scope … strongly biased and discriminatory against women, homosexuals and non-Muslims. Shariah law provides a legal framework for violence up to and including legalized murder against apostates, homosexuals, blasphemers and especially women accused of various crimes.”

It’s truly mind-boggling how liberal political correctness can totally blind Mr. Haynes to reality. I wonder if Mr. Haynes views sharia law as part of Obama’s grand “fundamental transformation of America.” Remember, Barack Obama has appointed people (Sonia Sotomayor, Harold Koh and others) who show a willingness to use sharia law in U.S. courts and it is happening now!

Americans much speak up on this issue. Contact your legislators and tell them NO to sharia law.
