France Neighborhoods Follow Sharia Law And Become "Islamic Societies" Cut Off From The State

This is the bitter reality in Iran, Saudi Arabia, and in certain parts of UK, Australia, and France 

France's decrepit city suburbs are becoming 'separate Islamic societies' cut off from the state, according to a major new study that examines the spread of Islam in France.

Muslim immigrants are increasingly rejecting French values and identity and instead are immersing themselves in Islam, according to the report, which also warns that Islamic Sharia law is rapidly displacing French civil law in many parts of suburban Paris.

The 2,200-page report, "Banlieue de la République" (Suburbs of the Republic), is the result of a one-year research effort into the four "i's" that comprise the heart of the debate over French national identity: Islam, immigration, identity and insecurity.

The report was commissioned by the influential French think tank L'Institut Montaigne, and directed by Gilles Kepel, a well-known political scientist and specialist in the Muslim world, together with five other French researchers.

The authors of the report show that France, which has between five and six million Muslims (France has the largest Muslim population in European Union), is on the brink of a major social explosion because of the failure of Muslims to integrate into French society.

The report also shows how the problem is being exacerbated by radical Muslim leaders who are promoting the social marginalization of Muslim immigrants in order to create a parallel Muslim society in France that is ruled by Sharia law.

France’s State Television Launches Third Intifada

On September 30, 2000, France 2 broadcast a tragic scene that was almost certainly staged and faked: the “murder” of Muhammad al Dura by “the Jews.” The images, shot by Palestinian cameraman Talal Abu Rahmah and irresponsibly broadcast without due diligence by France 2’s Israel correspondent Charles Enderlin, became a major trigger of the “second Intifada.” Violence in Gaza and the West Bank erupted accompanied by the cries “revenge for the blood of Mohamed al Durah!” Daniel Pearl was beheaded with a picture of Mohamed al Dura behind him and with pictures of the scene spliced into the slitting of his throat.

Eleven years later, France 2 is once again signing up for the Palestinian cause –this time by actively taking part in Abbas’ propaganda. On October 3, 2011, France 2 broadcast a special report on “Palestine.” In a nutshell, it goes like this. The 1947 UN Partition Plan didn’t work out and both parties are to be blamed for it; the PA government in the West Bank is the Switzerland of the Middle East; as for Gaza, all Hamas wants is peace and whenever rockets are shot at Israel, it is only and always in retaliation to Israeli unprovoked attacks and aggressions; Israel steals the Palestinians’ water and in the Jordan Valley it turned a green land into a desert; Jewish “settlers” first came to Hebron in 1968 and since then they terrorize helpless Palestinians; the Palestinians’ “resistance” is always peaceful and harmless; the only reason why Israel still enjoys US support is because of AIPAC’s money, threats and control of US politicians and media; the 7 millions descendants of Palestinian refugees from 1948 cannot and should not be integrated in their host countries (such as Lebanon) and they have the right to return to Israel.

The scenario of France 2’s special report could have been written by Mahmoud Abbas himself. Its effects will probably not be as dramatic as those of the al Dura hoax. But the third Intifada –an Intifada of lies and propaganda- has been launched, and France 2 is once again giving it a hand.

Sarkozy May Lose Jewish Vote (and Election) in 2012 After Delivering A Pro-Palestinian Speech at U.N.

Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, a conservative president of France from 1974 to 1981, was not reelected. He ascribed his defeat — by less than 1 % of the vote against François Mitterrand, the socialist challenger — to the Jewish community, which resented his pro-Arab policies. From then on and as long as he entertained the hope to run again, he made sure to appear as a friend of Israel.

Nicolas Sarkozy, another conservative, played openly the Jewish and pro-Israel card in 2007 and was elected. He may have forfeited this on September 21 by delivering a pro-Palestinian speech at the UN General Assembly in Manhattan.

Stones, Eggs Hurled at French Ambassador in Syria

Supporters of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad have hurled stones and eggs at France's ambassador to the country.

The attack against Eric Chevallier took place on Saturday as he was leaving a meeting with the Greek Orthodox patriarch in Damascus.

Syria has been facing increased international pressure for its crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrators. On Monday, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe accused the Syrian government of “crimes against humanity.”

Nigeria, Thailand, Australia and France Plan to Introduce Legislation to Facilitate Sharia-Compliant Banking

Bahraini group that sets standards for Islamic finance in 45 countries is helping universities start courses in Sharia-compliant business practices to avert a shortage of experts in the US$1 trillion (Dh3.67tn) market.

The industry will need 15 per cent more personnel over the next five years and 25 per cent more in a decade, said Khairul Nizam, the deputy secretary general of the Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions. Pakistan is offering its first doctorate in Sharia banking, while the UAE has introduced an Islamic Masters of Business Administration.

"There is a shortage of people in the industry at the entry level," Mr Nizam said. "We will need to make sure there are enough heads in the future."

Sharia-compliant bonds returned 6.9 per cent this year, according to the HSBC/Nasdaq Dubai US Dollar Sukuk Index, outpacing the 5.9 per cent jump in emerging-market debt, data compiled by JPMorgan Chase shows. Countries including Nigeria, Thailand, Australia and France plan to introduce legislation to facilitate Islamic financing, moves that will boost demand for scholars to certify that the products meet requirements on no interest payments.

Prime Minister Erdogan’s visits to Egypt, Tunisia and Libya in which administrations fall with the public movements referred as the Arab Spring were followed in the region as well as by the international community, they also resulted in some concerns in certain countries.

France, getting uncomfortable with the initiatives of Turkey, arranged an official visit to Libya where the most brutal aspects of the Arab Spring take place, and France also underscored the French role during the process of transformation in the country. In their statements, the British Prime Minister Cameron who made visits to Tripoli and Benghazi in Libya with Sarkozy indicated that the NATO intervention and the role of the United Nations would continue. Both leaders, in their statements to the Libyan public, posited that their target was to bring freedom to Libya. While Sarkozy and Cameron were stating that they would go on with the war, there were some clashes in Sirte and Beni Velid. After the visit of two leaders, the United Nations General Assembly recognized the National Transitional Council of Libya as the legitimate representative of Libya and the UN Security Council produced the 2009-numbered resolution in which the members agreed on the establishment of a temporary mandate government in Libya under the United Nations Support Mission in Libya –UNSMIL-. This way, it became evident that at least one of the countries supporting the NATO’s military intervention in Libya will be directly coordinating the new restructuring period in Libya for additional three months.

More EU countries Pulling Out of Durban III

The governments of France and New Zealand have announced that they will boycott this Thursday’s UN-sponsored Durban III anti-racism commemoration event because its planning has been plagued by anti- Semitism and racism.

The process “became more and more racist,” and “just like the Brits” the French foreign minister will not be attending it, a French diplomat told The Jerusalem Post from Paris on Saturday.

The aims of the anti-racism conference has “moved away from its original purpose,” the diplomat said.

British Prime Minister David Cameron said last week that 2001’s Durban I conference saw “open displays” of “deplorable anti-Semitism,” and it would be “wrong” to participate in such events.

“That’s why the UK will play no part in this conference,” Cameron said.

“France will not participate in the meeting planned in New York on the 22nd of September commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Durban conference against racism,” the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement sent to the Post.

Apple Removes "Jew or Not Jew App" (but only in France)

Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) has dropped a mobile phone application called 'Jewish or nor Jewish' from its stores in France.

SOS Racisme, the French-based anti-racism organization, said the app violated French laws since the compilation of personal data –including one's religion is not allowed in the absence of a person's consent. In the aftermath of World War II, France enacted laws against such data collection –with a possible punishment of up to five years in prison.

The app's developer, Johann Levy, who is himself Jewish, told media that app is "recreational" and that there is nothing wrong with it.

"I'm not a spokesman for all Jews, but as a Jew myself, I know that in our community we often ask whether such and such celebrity is Jewish or not," Levy told the Le Parisien newspaper on Wednesday. 

"For me, there's nothing pejorative about saying that someone is Jewish or not. On the contrary, it's about being proud." Levy reported complied personal data on 3500 people by using various online sources.

The app remains available outside of France.

French anti-racism group to sue Apple over an iPhone application called "A Jew or Not Jew?"

French anti-racism group has threatened to sue Apple over an iPhone application called "A Jew or Not Jew?" that allows users to consult a database of celebrities and public figures to determine whether they are Jewish or not.


SOS Racisme said the application, sold for 0.79 euro cents ($1.07) on the Apple Store France, violates France's strict laws banning the compiling of people's personal details without their consent.


Under the French penal code, stocking personal details including race, sexuality, political leanings or religious affiliation is punishable by five-year prison sentences and fines of up to euro300,000
