Guess Why The U.N. Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, Apologized to Turkey...

Man Edrogan must be ecstatic!  He got Ban Ki-moon to say sorry... something Israel refuses to do.

Israel, Like Mordechi in the book of Esther, Refuses to kowtow to the modern-day Haman, Edrogan.

Even the horse never apologized!

Perhaps the weak leaders who always go out of their way to appease, apologized for the Palmer report too..

"Palestinian" Rep. To UN Shows Disgust When Obama Suggests Both Sides Should Learn To Stand In Their Opponent’s Shoes

During his address to the UN General Assembly today, Barack Hussein Obama said that it’s important for both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian stalemate to learn to stand in their opponent’s shoes. This, he says, will help both parties better understand where the opposition is coming from.

After he makes this statement, the camera cuts to the Palestinian representative shaking his head (as if to say, “What a maroon!”)

Head shake begins around 1:50

Thanks, Canada!

Prime Minister Stephen Harper rallied to the side of Israel on Wednesday, saying the best road for peace in the Middle East lies through negotiations between that country and the Palestinians.
Harper made his move in a meeting at the United Nations with Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Under Harper’s leadership, Canada has been an outspoken supporter of Israel in recent years. And on Wednesday, Harper publicly reinforced that relationship with a critically timed message of support.
The international community is gripped this week with debate over the Palestinian Authority’s bid for statehood at the UN.

Harper has categorically stated in recent days that Canada will oppose the “unilateral” effort by the Palestinians at the UN — outside of long-stalled peace talks with Israel — because it could actually hamper hopes for peace in the region.

Russia, China, Tajikistan propose UN "code of conduct" for the internet

Quick show of hands: which four countries would you most trust to introduce a United Nations-backed “international code of conduct for information security” on the Internet? If your list included China, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, then you'll love the new code of conduct (PDF) introduced at the 66th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York last week.

The proposed code of conduct would be voluntary, but it is clearly aimed at staking out more ground for nation-states when it comes to the Internet. As the document's preamble states, “policy authority for Internet-related public issues is the sovereign right of States”—not of the IETF, or of ICANN, or of a multistakeholder process that includes business and civil society.

The code demands that countries show respect for “human rights and fundamental freedoms” and pledges support for “combating criminal and terrorist activities that use information and communications technologies, including networks.” States would also pledge not to use Internet tools to “carry out hostile activities or acts of aggression.”
